When eating meat like turkey or ham, skip the skin and cut off any fatty parts
Chew your food thoroughly to get the best digestion and to assimilate the most nutrients
Slow down and enjoy the meal and the company you are with, take pauses between bites
Focus on the veggies, salads and fruits first so you’ll eat less of the fattier & more filling foods
Take smaller portions of stuffing, meats and sweets

Avoid sugary beverages such as sodas, sweetened teas and sports drinks
Limit your servings of deserts/pies, cookies and candies, just pick one
